At age 15, Maeko ran away from home and lived on the streets for a good three years under the street name 'Max'. She lived as a petty thief and never had an issue with getting involved with gangs and getting into danger.At 18, she was caught by her parents and dragged back to home and quickly enrolled into a high school.
